Fonterra has announced changes to its management team, with managing director of co-operative affairs, Mike Cronin, to focus full-time on the potential consumer divestment process.

Cronin, who has been with the company since 2002, will remain a key member of the management team.

Matt Bolger, a former Fonterra employee, will take over as managing director of co-operative affairs in March 2025.

Bolger, who spent over 18 years at Fonterra, is currently the pro vice-chancellor of the University of Waikato management school and the chairman of the Dairy Companies Association of New Zealand.
