Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZX:FPH, ASX:FPH) announced results for the first half of the 2023 financial year, with total operating revenue of $690.6 million, a 23% decrease from the prior year.

Net profit after tax for the first half was $95.9 million, a 57% decline from the prior comparable period.

The Hospital product group experienced a 35% decline in revenue compared to the prior period, while the Homecare product group saw a 10% increase.

Gross margin was 59.8%, down from 63.1% in the prior period.

The company declared an increased interim dividend of 17.5 cents per share and reactivated its dividend reinvestment plan.

The company is expecting higher revenue in the second half of the financial year, however due to the current uncertainties, they are not providing full-year quantitative revenue or earnings guidance.
