Genesis Energy experienced growth in its customer base, adding 4,934 customers during the quarter.

The Huntly Rankine generation increased to support the market during plant outages.

However, renewable generation volumes were lower due to normalizing inflows compared to the previous quarter.

The Chief Executive, Malcolm Johns, expressed satisfaction with the flexibility of the Huntly Power Station and the company's efforts to accelerate the return to service while operating the Rankine units.

The development of the Kupe KS-9 well is progressing as planned, with drilling set to begin in October 2023 and first gas expected in FY24 Q3.
