George Adams has been appointed as an independent director of Synlait Milk.
Adams' appointment is effective from March 21 2024, and he will stand for election by Synlait shareholders at the company's annual meeting in December 2024.
With the addition of Adams, Synlait now has three independent directors, as required under its constitution.
Adams, who has over 30 years of international business experience, will also serve as a member of the company's audit and risk committee and the people, environment, and governance committee.
