Greenfern Industries has announced the resignation of managing director, Dan Casey, who will step down on August 22.
Current director Elizabeth Plant will take over as chief executive.
Casey, who is a founder of the company and has been its leader since before its listing in October 2021, will continue to serve as a consultant until the end of September 2024.
Casey and Plant will also resign from the board.
Plant, who joined the GFI board as an independent director in January 2024, will prioritise a review of the company's medical cannabis cultivation operation, with a focus on improving efficiency and efficacy.
The company will also seek to raise further capital in the coming months.
