Gregor Barclay joins Rakon as non-executive director

Rakon has announced the appointment of Gregor Barclay as a non-executive director, effective from Oct 13, 2025.

Barclay, who will serve as an independent director, is a founding partner of Claymore Partners and has experience in the commercial, legal, and sports sectors.

He currently chairs Smartpay Holdings and is a director of several private companies, including Pacific Forest Products and Boffa Miskell.

Barclay is also a director of New Zealand Rugby and a former chair of New Zealand Cricket and the International Cricket Council.

His appointment brings the Rakon board to five directors, with three being independent.
