Downer EDI's subsidiary, Hawkins, has secured a contract worth approximately $800 million to undertake the building works for the new domestic jet terminal at Auckland Airport.
The project, which will be delivered under a collaborative contract model, is set to commence in September 2024 and is scheduled for completion in 2029.
Hawkins has been working with Auckland Airport since February 2022 and is currently engaged in an enabling work package for the domestic jet terminal.
The scope of the project includes the construction of a new headhouse, a 240-metre gate pier, and landside civil works.
