Jason Walbridge has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of SkyCity Entertainment.
Walbridge, who has over two decades of senior executive experience in the global land-based and online gaming industries, will assume the role in early July 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
His appointment comes after an extensive international search.
SkyCity board chair, Julian Cook, expressed delight at the decision, noting that Walbridge's extensive global experience will position him well to lead the company in its next phases.
In the meantime, Callum Mallett will continue to serve as the interim chief executive.
SkyCity is a New Zealand-based entertainment group.
