Jo Hempstead named NZME's new CFO

Jo Hempstead has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of NZME.

Hempstead, who has over 20 years of financial leadership experience, will begin her role on January 27, 2026.

She previously worked at The Warehouse Group as the general manager of finance and has also held senior finance positions at Microsoft New Zealand and The Economist.

NZME chief executive, Michael Boggs, expressed his enthusiasm for Hempstead's appointment, highlighting her financial expertise and experience in large-scale transformation.
