Leon Fung appointed director at Bright Dairy

Bright Dairy has appointed Leon Fung as one of its directors, leading to the retirement of Ruth Richardson from the role.

Fung, who is currently the CEO of NIG Nutritionals, brings over 20 years of experience in the dairy and food segment, including leadership roles in Danone Nutricia NZ and Winston Nutritionals.

Bright, which holds a 39% shareholding in Synlait, believes that Fung's extensive manufacturing and dairy industry experience will enable him to make a significant contribution to Synlait's board and help the company navigate current circumstances.

The change in directors is effective immediately.
