Fisher & Paykel Healthcare has announced the appointment of Mark Cross to its board as a non-executive director, effective Oct 1, 2024.
Cross's appointment comes from Scott St John's retirement at the end of August.
He will also chair the audit and risk committee.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's current chair, St John, expressed confidence in Cross, noting his strategic thinking, understanding of the technology sector, and strong business acumen.
Cross brings extensive governance experience, currently serving as the chair of Chorus and a director of Xero.
The company, which designs, manufactures, and markets respiratory care and sleep apnea treatment products, operates in over 120 countries.
