Kylie Reiri has been appointed as Meridian's next Future Director, effective from November 3, 2025.
Reiri, of Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Kahungunu, and Rangitāne descent, has a background in data-driven decision making.
She is currently the deputy chief executive of transformation, technology, and enabling services at the Social Investment Agency.
Prior to that, she was a partner at PwC and served as the chief executive of Nicholson Consulting.
Reiri is also a co-founder of Impact Lab.
Meridian's chair, Mark Verbiest, expressed delight in finding a candidate with Reiri's skills and experience, particularly in technology, digital, and executive leadership, as well as her close association with Ngāi Tahu and other iwi.
The Future Director Programme, run by the Institute of Directors, aims to identify and develop the next generation of directors in New Zealand.
Future directors attend board meetings as observers and do not have voting rights or decision-making involvement.
