Meridian Energy Limited's monthly operating report for November 2021 revealed national hydro storage increased from 119% to 128%, South Island storage rose to 128% and North Island storage decreased to 125%.
Waitaki catchment water storage was 134% of historical average and Waitaki snow storage was 106%.
National electricity demand and New Zealand Aluminium Smelter's average load were both unchanged from the same month last year.
Meridian's New Zealand retail sales volumes increased 11.5%.
Segment sales increased in residential, small medium business, agricultural and corporate, while large business volumes decreased.
