Metro Performance Glass trading halted amid acquisition talks

Metro Performance Glass (MPG) has been placed in a trading halt by NZ RegCo, following media statements from Crescent Capital Partners regarding its proposal to acquire or merge with the company.

The halt, which applies to MPG's ordinary shares, was implemented before the market opened on Friday and will remain in effect until either MPG makes an announcement about the Crescent proposal or the market opens on Tuesday.
