Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand has reported a strong performance for the six months to June 30, 2024.
The company's total revenue reached $85.3 million, a significant increase from $60m in the same period last year.
Hotel revenue in New Zealand also grew, reaching $55.9m compared to $47.5m in the previous year.
Profit before tax and non-controlling interests more than doubled to $21.5m.
Millennium & Copthorne attributed the positive results to the successful implementation of its "Revive and Thrive" strategy, as well as the ongoing recovery in the tourism sector.
The company expressed optimism for continued progress and recovery in 2024, despite the impact of current economic headwinds.
It also highlighted its focus on investing in property refurbishments and network expansion.
