MOVE Logistics has reported an improved financial result for the six months ended December 31, 2024.
The transport and logistics group, which operates in New Zealand and Australia, achieved total income of $150.7 million, down 5% compared to the same period last year.
However, it was higher than the income recorded in the second half of 2024.
The company's majority of business units delivered improved earnings, with a halving of the normalised ebt loss.
MOVE's chief executive, Paul Millward, highlighted the continuing improvement in the freight business and the strong performance of the fuel business.
The company remains focused on productivity improvements and positioning itself for stronger market activity and demand.
It expects to achieve positive adjusted net operating cashflow and a significant improvement in normalised ebt in the 2025 financial year, with a return to positive normalised ebt in 2026.
