New Zealand King Salmon has announced the acquisition of a commercial site in Blenheim for $8.14 million.
The site, located at the Cloudy Bay Business Park, has now gone unconditional after a period of due diligence.
The company said the purchase is aimed at supporting its future processing requirements, particularly in relation to the anticipated growth from the Blue Endeavour project.
However, it emphasised that there are several stage gates that need to be met before any firm development decisions can be made, and any changes to current operations are expected to be at least three years away.
The transaction is expected to settle by October 7, 2025, and NZK said it will use existing cash on hand to fund the purchase.
