NZ RegCo queries NZME's sudden share surge

NZME has received a price inquiry from NZ RegCo about the recent increase in its share price.

The company's share price has risen from $0.92 to a bid-offer spread of $1.08-$1.10, with a last sale price of $1.08.

This represents a 17% price move in approximately a week.

NZME has been asked to confirm whether it continues to comply with the listing rule on immediate disclosure of material information.

The company has been given until 9am on July 12 to respond to the inquiry.
