NZ Windfarms has announced that its fixed price variable volume contracts for differences (CFDs) with Meridian Energy are now unconditional.

The company revealed in June that it had reached conditional agreements for the CFDs with Meridian.

The agreements were contingent on a waiver from listing rule 5.2.1 or approval by NWF shareholders.

The waiver has now been granted by NZ RegCo, removing the final condition for the CFDs. No further details were provided in the announcement.
