NZ Windfarms Limited NZ Windfarms Limited has submitted an application to the Ministry for the Environment to utilise the fast-track resource consent pathway to construct a new wind farm development on the boundary of the existing Te Rere Hau wind farm.

The proposed new wind farm development would have a capacity of 37.8MW and could produce enough renewable energy to power 23,000 average kiwi households or charge 75,800 electric vehicles.

The Company has also executed new Variable Volume Fixed Price Agreement (VVFPA) contracts with two counterparties, fixing its generation for the remainder of 2023 and the first half of 2024.
