Mr. Lee Joo Hai has resigned from his position as a director of PGG Wrightson Limited (PGW) in order to remove speculation caused by media and market attention regarding securities regulation matters he is defending in Singapore. Mr. Lee noted that he did not consider that these matters affected his capacity to remain a PGW director, but felt it was in the best interests of the company to step down.
U Kean Seng, Acting Chair of the PGW Audit Committee, thanked Mr. Lee for his contributions and wished him well for the future.
