Cannasouth Limited (NZX: CBD) have reported preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2021, with progress made in the emerging and highly regulated medicinal cannabis sector in New Zealand and globally.

CEO, Mark Lucas reported $1.3 million sales of products and services to the pharmaceutical, health and wellness supplement sectors.

The Group achieved a loss of $1.6 million and net assets of $15.7 million.

Cannasouth are focused on achieving export of premium cannabis flower, their own-formulated finished products, and the commercialisation of IP from research and development activities this year.

The Group have assembled a highly experienced team, commissioned world-class facilities and added significant healthcare and governance expertise to the Board.
