Promisia Healthcare reshuffles board, alters independence status

Promisia Healthcare has announced a change to its board composition and the independence status of a director.

Tony Mortensen, who was appointed to the board in September, will no longer be considered an independent director.

This is due to his decision to accept an employment offer from Asset Management, a substantial product holder of Promisia.

The board has also decided to reappoint former director Jill Hatchwell to assist with its governance needs.

Hatchwell, who retired from the board at the 2024 annual shareholders meeting, is familiar with Promisia and its business.

The board considers her to be an independent director.

The changes take effect immediately.
