Rakon director Keith Oliver retires, Mark Bregman appointed

Rakon has announced the retirement of independent director Keith Oliver and the appointment of Mark Bregman as an independent director, effective from November 1, 2024.

Oliver, who has been with the company since 2017, is stepping down to pursue other work commitments internationally.

Bregman, who has more than 35 years of experience in global businesses and has held executive and board roles in technology companies such as IBM, Veritas and Symantec, has been appointed to the board.

Bregman, who moved to New Zealand full-time in 2023, will put himself forward for election at the next annual meeting.

After the changes, Rakon's board will comprise five directors, with three being independent directors and two vacant board seats.

The company is looking for suitable candidates for the two independent director vacancies.
