Richard Wyeth has been appointed as the new chief executive of Synlait.
Wyeth, who has previously served as the chief executive of Westland Milk Products and Miraka, will join the company on May 19.
He is expected to play a key role in the company's turnaround and return to profitability.
Tim Carter, who has been acting as the chief executive, will return to his role as the chief executive of Dairyworks, a subsidiary of Synlait.
