Rua Bioscience appoints first Australian executive

Rua Bioscience has announced the appointment of John Sanders as its Chief of Sales and Marketing for Australia.

This appointment is significant as Sanders is the first Australian employee of the company.

Sanders brings a strong background in the cannabis sector, with three years of experience at NZ-based medicinal cannabis company Cannasouth Bioscience.

He also has commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector, having worked at companies such as Roche, Bayer, Merk, and Sharp & Dome.

In his new role, Sanders will be responsible for overseeing sales and marketing operations from Melbourne as Rua Bioscience looks to expand in the Australian market.

Paul Naske, CEO of Rua Bioscience, expressed optimism about the appointment, stating that Sanders' track record aligns with the company's growth strategy in Australia.
