Sam Grant appointed intern director at South Port

South Port New Zealand has announced the appointment of Sam Grant as an intern director.

Grant, who is an investment advisor with Craigs Investment Partners, will serve a term of 18 months.

However, he will be an observer only and not considered a "director" under the Companies Act 1993 or NZX Listing Rule 3.20.

The appointment is part of the Southland Corporate Governance Intern Programme, which aims to build governance capability in Southland and provide opportunities for aspiring directors.

Grant, who is based in Gore, has a background in finance and risk management.
