Sanford continues to see strong price recovery Q1 FY23

Sanford Limited, New Zealand's leading seafood company, has reported strong price recovery in all divisions for the first quarter of FY23, with sales prices for Greenshell Mussels exceeding pre-Covid levels.

Wildcatch volumes are down, however, due to timing and availability of some catch, while Salmon achieved the best prices in any quarter for the past five years.

CEO Peter Reidie expressed confidence that Sanford will achieve expected sales volumes over the full year, subject to catch and harvest meeting expectations.
