Sky Network appoints Ciara McGuigan as CFO

Sky Network Television has announced the appointment of Ciara McGuigan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from March 2024.

McGuigan is currently the CFO at TVNZ and has previous experience in media, telecommunications, and retail.

Sky's CEO, Sophie Moloney, expressed excitement about McGuigan joining the team and highlighted the company's positive financial results and ambitious plans for the future.

In the interim, Deloitte Partner Andrew Hirst, who has been serving as Interim CFO since May 2023, will be replaced by former Foxtel CFO James Marsh from October 2023 until McGuigan assumes the role.

Moloney expressed gratitude to Hirst for his contribution and expects a smooth transition to Marsh.

The company aims to be New Zealand's leading media company.
