The City of London Investment Trust PLC has announced their unaudited results for the half-year ended 31 December 2021, with total return of 6.9% for their net asset value and 8.94p of revenue earnings per share.
Dividends received from their holdings in mining companies, banks, oil companies and other sectors contributed to a total of £2.8 million of special dividends.
The Board declared two interim dividends and stated their intention to increase the dividend for the fifty-sixth consecutive year.
