Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust has released its half-yearly report for the period ending September 30, 2023.

The investment trust, which focuses on emerging markets companies, reported net assets of £1.9 billion as of the end of September.

TEMIT's portfolio consists of around 80 companies, selected for their long-term growth potential and sustainable earnings, as well as their environmental, social, and governance attributes.

The company's net asset value total return since its launch in 1989 was 3,832.7%, compared to the benchmark total return of 1,698.1%.

TEMIT's shares are traded on both the London and New Zealand stock exchanges.
