Third Age Health has confirmed its acquisition of a 70% stake in Hub Aged Care, a Wellington-based primary care practice specialising in aged residential care services.

The completion of due diligence and board approval paves the way for the acquisition to be effectively completed on April 1.

As part of the deal, one of Hub Aged Care's general practitioners will retain a 30% ownership stake.

The acquisition is in line with Third Age Health's strategic goals of expanding its elder care offerings in the Lower North Island and enhancing healthcare services for the elderly.
