Tony Carter named independent director of Warehouse Group

Tony Carter has been appointed as an independent director of The Warehouse Group, effective May 1 2024.

Carter will be replacing current director, Julia Raue, who will step down from the board on May 31 2024.

The appointment of Carter was welcomed by The Warehouse Group chair, Joan Withers, who highlighted his extensive experience in retail, commercial, and governance.

Carter's previous directorships include roles at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare, Air New Zealand, Fletcher Building, ANZ Bank New Zealand, and Vector New Zealand.

He currently chairs the boards of MyFoodBag, Datacom Group, and The Interiors Group, and serves as a director of Ravensdown.
