TruScreen has reported strong sales growth in the third quarter of the 2024 financial year, driven by increased demand in China.

The New Zealand/Australia-listed company saw a 40% rise in device sales and a 22% increase in sales of Single Disposable Sensors (SUS) for the nine months ending Dec 31 2023, compared to the same period the previous year.

TruScreen's success in China was attributed to the recognition and endorsement of its technology in the country's major national guidelines.

A roadshow by the company's distributor also contributed to the growth, leading to the installation of TruScreen technology in several new major hospitals.

In addition, TruScreen won a tender in Zimbabwe and invoiced for 10,800 SUS.

The company's chief executive, Dr Beata Edling, expressed delight with the third quarter results.
