Cannasouth has announced the upcoming departure of two directors from its board.

Independent non-executive director, Hilary Webber, and executive director, Greg Misson, will be stepping down from their positions.

Webber's departure will take effect on 1 January 2024, while Misson will continue in his executive management role until 31 March 2024.

The chairman of Cannasouth, Tony Ho, expressed gratitude to both Webber and Misson for their service on the board since the company's merger with Eqalis Group New Zealand in June 2023.

He also acknowledged their contributions to Eqalis.

As part of its planned dual listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2024, the board intends to appoint a new Australian-based director.

Additionally, Ho will replace Webber on the audit and finance committee as an independent non-executive director.
