Vital Healthcare Property Trust has announced the opening of its non-underwritten unit purchase plan (UPP), which is expected to raise $30 million.

The UPP is part of Vital's $220m capital raising, which also includes an underwritten $190m placement of new units.

The UPP is open to eligible unit holders in New Zealand and allows them to subscribe for up to $50,000 of new units.

The issue price of the new units will be the lower of $1.95 per unit or a 2.5% discount to the volume weighted average price of Vital units traded on the NZX.

The new units issued under the UPP will rank equally with existing Vital units on issue.

However, they will not be eligible for the first quarter distribution for the 2026 financial year.

Eligible unit holders are encouraged to visit the UPP offer website for more information and to apply online.
