Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission
- The Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission assesses and reports publicly on the mental health and wellbeing of people in NZ, factors that affect people’s mental health and wellbeing, and the effectiveness, efficiency, and adequacy of approaches to mental health and wellbeing.
- Makes recommendations to improve the approaches to mental health and wellbeing, monitors mental health and addiction services, and advocates for improvements to those services.
- Promotes alignment, collaboration, and communication between entities involved in mental health and wellbeing, and advocates for the collective interests of people who experience mental distress or addiction (or both), and the people who support them.
