Otākaro
- Ōtākaro is in charge of the government’s promised central city anchor projects following the Canterbury earthquakes.
- Included are new public spaces – gardens, parks, and gathering spaces, major new public facilities like the convention centre and the metro sports facility, and the Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial.
- Also planned are around 900 new residential dwellings, and improvements to the traffic network.
