- Transpower owns and operates the National Grid, the high-voltage transmission network that carries electricity throughout the country, through over 12,000km of transmission lines and 170 substations.
- Transports bulk electricity from where it’s generated to cities and towns, connecting with smaller companies who deliver power to homes and businesses, and manages NZ’s power system so that electricity is delivered whenever and wherever needed.
