  • In policy roles at Te Puni Kōkiri and spent three years as private secretary to the former Minister of Māori Affairs, Pita Sharples.
  • In 2014, was negotiation and settlement manager at the Office for Māori Crown Relations/Te Arawhiti.
  • Originally a teacher, then moved to Te Papa Tongarewa in a range of roles using her education training.
