Previously served as executive vice president for FPInnovations, the world’s largest not-for-profit forestry sector research organisation, where he led R&D operations and staff at three campuses.
Also led change programs to improve interdisciplinary collaboration and to drive innovation, including creating a pan-Canadian bioeconomy academic network, project concepts for digitisation of the natural resources sector, and putting in place investment strategies for bio-based product opportunities.
