ACC and Ngāi Tahu ink Dunedin deal

Accident Compensation Corp and Ngāi Tahu Property are to jointly develop a multi-level, 8,000-square metre office block on what is the current Dowling St carpark in Dunedin to house up to 650 ACC staff.Ngāi Tahu has a $3 million purchase agreement with the Dunedin City Council for the site, which currently serves as inner city parking for businesses near the Queen's Gardens, though the parties have yet to apply for resource consent. ACC chief executive Scott Pickering said the city was an “essential hub” for ACC’s nat...
