Air New Zealand has appointed Richard Thomson as its new chief financial officer.He will start at the airline in early 2021. Outgoing CFO Jeff McDowall will depart Air NZ after the airline’s capital raising in the first half of next year, as previously announced.Thomson is the current chief financial officer of Metlifecare, which has recently been sold to Swedish company EQT.Air NZ chief executive Greg Foran said Thomson was an exceptionally well-respected executive with a proven track record as a listed-company CFO.“He is highly re...
