Tourism Holdings will be hoping its purchase of rival Apollo Tourism & Leisure brings some of the Greek god's healing touch while it grapples with the covid pandemic for the foreseeable future.The A$137 million deal may have come out of the blue, but it wasn’t totally surprising given the disarray tourism operators have found themselves in since covid became a household word and kicked the industry in the guts.Pitching the deal as a merger – it’s not – Tourism Holdings talked up the ability of the combined group...
