Fonterra Co-operative Group has lowered its farmgate milk price forecast as increased supply weighs down on global pricing.It is now forecasting a milk price of between $9/kgMS and $10/kgMS with a midpoint of $9.50/kgMS.The co-op opened the season at $10/kgMS with a wide range of $8/kgMS to $11/kgMS, but narrowed that down to $9/kgMS to $11/kgMS in late August.It paid $10.15/kgMS for the previous season.Watch HeraldNOW: Wholesale price cut for milk; wholesale pricing for fuel could put Mobil in breach.‘Strong forecast’ Tue...
