The Government has issued a tender for a review of the royalty regime for minerals, just as new data shows a collapse in royalty revenue due to the decline in gas supply.The review will assess whether current royalty settings deliver a fair financial return to the Crown and explore alternative approaches to ensure the regime remains fit for purpose.
