Almost 25 years after first lodging a claim against former business partner Alexander van Heeren, Michael Kidd has died from cancer in Johannesburg.He would have turned 78 this May.After decades of legal wrangling, a four-week hearing begun today at the High Court at Auckland into the two businessmen’s interests.The administrator of Kidd’s estate, Bryan Cooper, told BusinessDesk Kidd was diagnosed with cancer last April and given three-to-12 months to live.Kidd died on February 17, but not before giving evidence via audio link ahead...
