Secret buyer scoops up oligarch's abandoned superyacht for $67 million

By Jim Wyss The Alfa Nero superyacht, which has been abandoned in the Caribbean for more than two years, has a new owner.The 81m vessel, complete with a baby grand piano and a swimming pool that turns into a helipad, sold for US$40 million (NZ$67.5m) this month, said Ronald Sanders, Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the US.
