Port of Tauranga has secured a second means of circumventing a court ruling that hampered the fast-tracking of a major wharf extension.On Friday morning, the port announced to the market that Infrastructure Minister Chris Bishop had approved a second application under the fast-track process for its Stella Passage project, which would extend two wharves at the port by more than 300 million each.The first fast-track application approved by ministers had been halted by an August court decision in favour of Bay of Plenty hapū, which opposed the por...
