UK's Astrak Group buys NZ heavy machinery supplier West-Trak

West Coast supplier of heavy machinery parts West-Trak has been bought by British-headquartered Astrak Group.Astrak, a global distributor of undercarriage, hydraulics, wear parts and buckets for construction equipment, said in a media statement the acquisition extends its presence beyond Europe and North America into the Southern Hemisphere.West-Trak, established in 1993, supplies wear parts for the mining, quarrying, forestry, civil, and engineering industries, with branches in Auckland and Westport.From bases in those centres it speciali...
